Miranda Martine-DuBaer is the birth mother of Alexandra Fielding, Camryn Barnes. She was also the faithful and loyal wife of Aaron DuBaer, prior to his death.
In the Novels
Following her husband's death, and daughters' assumed deaths, Miranda loses all of her powers and left Coventry. It was only fourteen years later that Thantos informed her that they were alive, and she was able to meet them. After this occured, she returned to Coventry to reconnect with her homeland
In the Films
Miranda is the Queen of Coventry, who was happily married to Aaron. However, her kingdom is soon attacked by the ominious Darkness, and on the day of her daughters' birth, her husband is killed, and she believes her daughters died as well. After this, she marries Thantos. It is 21 years later that she learns the truth, her daughters were alive and had been smuggled out of Coventry for their own protection. She also learns Thantos is the Darkness and is behind everything. Following his defeat, she celebrates with her newly met daughters. In the sequel, it is revealed Aron is alive in the Shadowlands. However, Miranda believes Thantos is regaining power, and asks her daughters to perform a vanquishing spell at the eclipse to destroy everything in the Shadowlands. Alex disobeys, however, and accidently brings Thantos back to Coventry. With her daughters' help, she brings back her husband, who defeats Thantos. In the end, she and Aron preside over Ileana and Karsh's wedding. In the end it is shown that Miranda has a twin sister, Minerva who is dark and evil
